Joy At Work

I feel very fortunate to work in a radio ministry. To combine my passions for the Lord and for doing radio is such a perfect fit for me. However, the years leading up to being part of The JOY FM team saw me at jobs that weren’t in ministry. Does this mean that they weren’t opportunities to work for the Lord? Absolutely not!

You may have a job that you feel isn’t the one you’d like to work at for the rest of your life. You may feel that you were called to a higher purpose, but you also have to make ends meet. It can feel oppressive, but keep in mind what our Father says about work. We should always remember, as scripture tells us in Colossians 3:23 that, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters”.

The Lord smiles on any hard work that is done in his name.
