Description:
Under supervision, the intern will perform all assigned cardiovascular procedures on adult patients. The intern will also be responsible for completing all baseline training for areas assigned to include baseline knowledge of textbook and journal material. Under supervision, the intern will perform various technical procedures, which require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed services.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications: Currently enrolled in or a graduate (AA/AS Degree) of a cardiovascular technology program. Require obtaining Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification within one (1) year of employment. – Require Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 (ninety) days of employment. Required Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within one (1) year of employment. Preferred Qualifications: Prefer vocational training in an allied health profession (i.e EMT’s, CMA’s or RAI’s) with one (1) year of work experience.
