Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Venice has openings for patient-centered Licensed Practical Nurse II candidates. Our current openings are as follows: LPN II for Labor, Delivery, Recovery and Postpartum unit, Day Shift, Full Time LPN II for Patient Flow, Mid Shift, Full Time LPN II for Medical Transport Lounge, Mid shift, Full Time Job Summary and Responsibilities: The LPN II implements nursing care for assigned patients. The LPN II assists the RN in the assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of nursing care. The LPN II utilizes advance skills in patient care after education and training.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications: Require basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications. Require graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing, or otherwise meet the educational requirements as outlined by the Florida Board of Nursing. Require thirty (30) hour IV certification. Require successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia test within ninety (90) days of employment.
