Bates Mechanical is looking for career minded individuals that are quality oriented with their work and innovative to help us continue to grow. Some plumbing experience is preferred with an emphasis in the commercial trade. Job involves installing pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial structures. Also includes collaborating with general contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals. Foreman Position Benefit: Bates Mechanical proudly provides a pre-fabrication division that is growing to aid with the organization of foreman duties. Responsibilities -Read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal and water supply systems -Cut, assemble and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure (e.g. electrical wiring) -Install and maintain water supply systems Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance

Qualifications:
Skills -Experience as a plumber (preferred) -Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in commercial and industrial buildings -Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers etc.) -Good communication and interpersonal skills -Friendly with a great deal of patience -Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces -Valid license to practice profession (preferred) -Proficiency in installing cast iron, copper, pvc, cpvc, medical gas, acid waste pipes -Operating equipment such as trackhoes, skid steer, tamps -Knowledge and ability to use plumbing tools such as soil pipe cutters, threading machines, soldering, brazing
