Description:
Creates and implements developmentally appropriate, weekly lesson plans for toddlers, aged 1-2 years old. Assists children in all areas of their daily schedule (gross/fine motor, nutrition, art, literature, etc.) while protecting them from physical and/or emotional harm. Maintains a clean and safe classroom and playground environment. Assists with the personal care and hygiene of all children to include following state guidelines for appropriate diaper changing and potty training of children. Maintains open and positive communication with children’s parents/guardians.
Qualifications:
This position requires a minimum of a CDA, TCC, or Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or a similar field. At least 18 years old A minimum of 6 months experience working in a licensed childcare facility is preferred. This is a Monday – Friday, 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. shift
