Sunday Opener Custodian

Description:
We are seeking a team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude. The primary responsibility of this position is for opening on Sunday at the Warren Crossbridge Campus but there will be an opportunity to work a total of 8-25 hours a week. There will be an occasional need to work outside of your regular schedule for special events. Applicant should be able to work in an ethical and professional manner and willingly work with staff and church members to create a welcoming, safe, well-maintained, clean facility. Duties and Responsibilities: • Keeps building offices in clean and orderly condition. • Set up, break down, and clean up for events and services. • Performs heavy cleaning duties. • Sweeps, mops, scrubs, or vacuums floors. • Gathers and empties trash. • Scrubs, sanitizes, and supplies restroom facilities. • Cleans windows, and mirrors. • Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power machinery to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. • Notifies managers regarding the need for repairs. Qualifications:
• Knowledge of standard cleaning methods and procedures • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for many hours • Ability to perform repetitive motion for long periods of time • Good communication skills • Ability to lift heavy objects (tables, chairs, etc.) • Reliable transportation
