Over the weekend, Carmen saw something that got to her and she recognized it as false teaching, when they said that there was no such thing as sin. In response to that, she also  shared a quote from Priscilla Shirer on Satan's strategy from her Bible study, Armor of God.

Essentially, he gives you the counterfeit version of what God has for you. How satan tempted Eve is not unlike how he tempts us. If I’ve learned one thing it’s that he does not use a “one size fits all.” He calls in a prescription that is tailor-made just for us. He finds the one thing that has a shred of truth to it - a lie we’re tempted to believe - and then sets about to confirm it. This is how he demoralizes us, and gets us to slurp up that “fill-in-the-blank counterfeit version/thing” with a spoon. He’s the master illusionist.
