The Morning Cruise Replay - JOY In Action

Thursday, October 17, 2024

Today was a special day as The Morning Cruise was live in Bill's hometown of Anna Maria Island at Crosspointe Fellowship to highlight those helping those impacted by Hurricanes Helene and Milton on the barrier island. Taking a cue from Mr. Rogers, we looked for the helpers and spoke to a number of them this morning. We first met Kevin Smith when Katrina hit New Orleans. We've kept in contact with him and he was able to tell us what Convoy of Hope is doing in Sarasota as well as the work of Mercy Chefs. Jennifer, a small business owner on the island shared how the hurricanes impacted her shop, Cheesecake Cutie & Cafe. Pastor Ed Moss of Crosspointe Fellowship shared what he has seen and how we can help via his congregation.
