The Morning Cruise Replay - No Substitute

Tuesday, October 22, 2024

Carmen is out today on station business and there was no subsitute for her so Dave and Bill carried the load today. Even though she wasn't physically in the studio this morning a reminder of her in the form of a Funko Pop that Bill got of her and Dave was still there.

For those looking to be a part of the political process, you can get an early start today and go vote. But don't forget to pray along with us for the rest of the 30 Days of Prayer.

We first heard about Chick-fil-A's efforts in entertainment a few weeks ago. Now Dave has some more details as to what exactly they are up to.

There is no substitute for quality entertainment and Pluggedin.com's review of The Wild Robot suggests you make it to the theatres for that one.

With Carmen out, Bill took the opportunity to play a trivia game, figuring he would have less resistance towards it. But he still needed a feminine voice, so he asked for a caller to play along. Francesca called in and tried her best to substitute for Carmen.
