Carmen was happy to have the heat on last night when she went to bed. Living in Florida, turning on the heat is a rare occurrence. And Carmen had to get help with fixing her heat pump in the first cold snap a few weeks ago. 

 But she wasn't alone in fighting appliances at home. Bill is struggling with the temperature control in his fridge and freezer.  

Laughter can be used to diffuse a situation. But, Christmas-themed dad jokes might be the cause of a fight! 

It's ugly sweater time. And while they keep you warm, they can also help you win a tumbler! 

Some might consider the cancer battle for Kate Middleton to be over, but the recovery process is still a struggle. She shared that sentiment recently and Dave shared how it is a very similar story for his wife. 

Hearing things like cancer, Bill turns to Isaiah 11 and longs for a time of unity and no longer fighting. 

Cozying up and watching a movie is a heartwarming experience, especially with a film starring Dick Van Dyke, who turned 99 today! And there are talks of a remake of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang in the works. 

Two of the US Military colleges will be meeting for a battle on the gridiron this weekend in the annual Army vs. Navy game. Will you be watching?
