30 Wishes - Wish #23 - Stephen & Grayson
A Wish Double-Header! Stephen is a 30 year old who has cerebral palsy and gets around in a power wheelchair with assistance. While he has never played a game, he is an avid sports fan and loves the Tampa Bay Rays. He especially loves the announcers and calls the games and announces the players for those around him.
Grayson is a 9 year old boy fighting Humoral Immunodeficiency Disease and has been in and out of the hospital since birth. He receives weekly treatments at the Hospital to manage the disease and the highlight of his trips to the Hospital is passing Tropicana Field where his favorite team, the Tampa Bay Rays, play. He loves playing baseball and watching the Rays play on TV.
For Wish 23, we surprised Stephen with the chance to spend an inning in the announcer's booth and Grayson with the opportunity to be an honorary bat boy, as well tickets to the Rays game, custom Rays jerseys and more for them both!
